Shell Macron® Oil 2606 M-18 is a high performance cutting oil for cutting operations on medium and high alloy steels as well as yellow metals. Shell Macron® Oil 2606 M-18 is formulated using carefully selected mineral oils. A combination of polar extreme pressure additives with anti-wear additives provide the oil with high load carrying capabilities. This combination of additives helps to reduce friction which can result in extended tool life while providing a good surface finish of the machined workpiece. Shell Macron® Oil 2606 M-18 is formulated with an effective anti-mist additive, to help reduce misting in the shop.
