SPIRAX^® EW Gear Oils are part of the shell family of heavy duty lubricants- were engineered to meet the demanding extended warranty requirements of heavy duty truck drive axles made by manufacturers such as Dana, ArvinMeritor and Mack. These gear oils provide outstanding protection that exceeds manufacturers’ and industry specifications. SPIRAX® EW Gear oils SAE 75W-90 and 80W-140 have received approval for 500,000 mile extended drain intervals for Dana heavy duty over-the-road truck axles and ArvinMeritor axles equipped with pump and filter systems. Fleets and independent operations may now use the SPIRAX® EW lubricants for both service-fill and factory-fill at the same change interval specified for approved synthetic fluids, and still quality for the ArvinMeritor and Dana 750,000-mile extended warranty coverage.
