Shell FM Gear Oils

Shell FM Gear Oils 220 and 460 are recommended for the lubrication of gear sets in food plants where there is the possibility of incidental contact of the lubricant with food being processed.  These colorless, odorless products, are manufactured from high quality base stocks and contain selected additives to provide long term oxidation stability, rust protection, wear protection properties, and good demulsibility.  Shell FM Gear Oils are manufactured in accordance with FDA 21 CFR 178.3570 and meet former  1998 USDA guidelines as an H-1 lubricant with incidental food contact for use in plants operating under the Federal Meat and Poultry Products Inspection Program.
