Retinax® Grease TL 00 is a premium quality grease formulated with a selected synthetic base fluid and a lithium complex thickener system to produce a semi-fluid grease. The use of extreme pressure additives as part of the additive package in Retinax Grease TL 00 provides protection in cases of shock loading. Shock loading can lead to rupture of the oil film and then to metal-to-metal contact, a major cause of severe wear. The extreme pressure additives coat and react with the surface to reduce or even prevent the damage that leads to worn surfaces. Carefully selected performance additives also provide oxidation stability, wear protection, and salt water rust protection. Retinax Grease TL 00 is naturally tacky toward metal surfaces.
